Ancient Pathways – Holy Land Tours
“Ask for the Ancient Paths.” Jeremiah 6:16
Whether it is your first visit to the Holy Land or you have been before, Ancient Pathways provides a visit like no other.
Monastery of the Holy Apostles
The Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Apostles, (or the Church of the Apostles) is the church at the centre of the Greek Orthodox Monastery of the Holy Apostles at Capernaum, near the shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel.
Church of the Beatitudes
Located on a small hill overlooking the Sea of Galilee, and built on the traditional site of Jesus’ delivery of the Sermon on the Mount, pilgrims are known to have commemorated this site since at least the 4th century.
The Garden of Gethsemane
The Garden of Gethsemane sits at the foot of the Mount of Olives close to the Old City of Jerusalem, the place where Jesus prayed and his disciples slept the night before his crucifixion. The site is recorded as where the ‘agony in the garden’ took place.
Holy Lavra of Saint Sabbas
Mar Saba is an Eastern Orthodox Christian monastery overlooking the Kidron Valley at a point halfway between the Old City of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, within the Bethlehem Governorate of the West Bank and is the largest monastery in the area.
Walk were Jesus walked
At Ancient Pathways, we try not to rush where Jesus walked, but to take our time — to savour each step of our journey together.
